How to Help
The Beacon House is a 501(c)3 organization. We charge residents a small weekly fee, which barely covers their room & board. These fees do not cover staff salaries, facilities maintenance, phone and electricity, and other overhead costs. In order for the Beacon House to succeed and thrive, we rely heavily on the generosity of others. Your gifts, whether financial or in-kind, are essential to the continuation of our daily operations. These following ideas are things you might do to make a difference for the men at Beacon House:
Give Time
The Beacon House is in need of volunteer assistance to create a more beautiful living space for residents and visitors and to raise community awareness of our purpose and operations. Some ways to volunteer include:
- Plant a garden on site
- Create a monthly newsletter
- Produce or help with a fundraising event
Please contact leew@beaconhouse-ky.com to find out our current volunteer needs or to share your ideas.
